How to Request a Financial Report

It would be a good idea that we as a community make it a priority to acquire a financial report for every month or quarterly, or however often these reports are compiled to maintain our understanding of how our money is being spent and how our reserves are growing. I know these things are time-consuming and inconvenient, but we must make the time and effort to stay active with what our elected board members and our management company are doing.

I have created this letter for your convenience so, all you need to do is add your personal information where necessary then copy and paste it into an email to the management company. (email provided below) It’s not a good idea to call when requesting information and you will probably not get a response:

Dear Merlene,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request a copy of the most recent financial report for our Homeowners Association. As a homeowner in Fondren Place Townhomes, I understand the importance of being informed about our, communities financial health, and management.

Transparency and accountability are crucial for maintaining trust and ensuring all homeowners know how funds are allocated and utilized. The financial report will provide valuable insight into the budgeting processes, reserve funds, and any proposed or ongoing projects that may affect our community.

Please let me know if there are any procedures or forms, I need to complete to facilitate this request. I am happy to comply with any necessary steps to obtain this information. Additionally, if any fees, are associated with receiving the report, kindly inform me in advance.

You can send the financial report to my email address, listed above, or my mailing address if a hard copy is required. I would appreciate receiving this information before the next board meeting if possible.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and appreciate your cooperation in providing this important information.

Warm regards,
